Meet the Team Behind A Joyous OfficiantTucson’s Mother-and-Son Officiant Team Since 2011, A Joyous Officiant has been helping couples throughout Tucson create wedding ceremonies that are personal, meaningful, and full of joy. Founded by Rev. Dr. Joy, the team became a mother-and-son partnership in 2016 when her son, Ben, joined the business.
Meet Ben -Ben has been an artist and creative thinker since he was a little boy. He loves experimenting with all kinds of artistic mediums and is always looking for his next creative project. His artwork has been displayed at a local gallery, and our home and yard are filled with many of his original creations.
Professionally, Ben works at CycleSkins, where he specializes in custom painting and motorcycle body repairs. He especially enjoys working with acrylic paints and airbrushing.
Of course, one of his favorite roles is also being a wedding officiant. Ben brings his artistic eye and easygoing personality to every ceremony, helping couples feel comfortable and making their wedding day feel truly their own.
Meet Rev. Dr. JoyRev.- Dr. Joy is a writer, author, minister, and lifelong student of metaphysical thought. In addition to officiating weddings, she enjoys writing books and articles for the metaphysical community.

In May 2020, Rev. Dr. Joy earned her Doctorate in Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysics in Sedona. She also holds a second doctorate in Ministry from Universal Life Church Seminary.
